Netflix Selects Ideal Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment

Baroque Works is poised to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a beloved, popular member has just been cast.

The platform declared this week that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bon Clay. Bon Clay possesses the power to transform into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that figure re-envisioned as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the source material and cartoon version.

Escola will work alongside several other fresh additions tasked with bringing the group to reality, featuring head Mr. 0, brought to life by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the cast as the monarch of Alabasta.

Even though Bon Clay is a important part of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. With season 2 set to cover the Little Garden segment, this signals a major departure in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could signal additional alterations to the story’s structure.
